TECHNICAL AREA
The present invention relates to a sanitary article arrangement for mounting a sanitary article at different heights according to the preamble of claim 1.
STATE OF THE ART
Sanitary articles, such as a bidet, a toilet bowl or a vanity, are typically mounted at different heights. As a rule, the height of the user is taken into account.
Many arrangements have become known from the prior art, which allow such an assembly.
PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
Starting from the prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a sanitary ware arrangement, the sanitary ware can be easily installed at different heights.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of claim 1. Accordingly, a sanitary article arrangement comprises a sanitary article, a fastening element for fastening the sanitary article to a bearing on the building side and a position element. The position element comprises a through opening. The sanitary article has a slot oriented in the installed position in the vertical direction, which extends through a rear wall of the sanitary article, and a receptacle with a stop surface at least partially surrounding the slot and extending into the sanitary article from the surface of the rear wall. The position element can be inserted into the receptacle in such a way that parts of the fastening element are guided through the slot and through the passage opening, the position of the passage opening in the receptacle determining the height of the sanitary article.
A very simple height adjustment can be achieved in this way. Depending on the position of the through opening on the position element, a different height setting can be achieved. In other words, the sanitary installer can, for example, adjust the position of the fastening element in the slot and accordingly adjust the height of the sanitary article by inserting the position element differently in the receptacle or by selecting the position element differently.
In a first embodiment, the sanitary article arrangement comprises a set of at least two position elements, the position of the through opening at one of the position elements being different from the position of the through opening at the other of the position elements. The plumber can select the altitude by selecting one or the other position element.
The set has the advantage that the installer can be given various different position elements, and he can then insert the appropriate one.
Preferably, the through opening between the position elements of the set are arranged such that a height adjustment range of 1 to 5 cm results.
[0010] In a variant of the first embodiment, one of the position elements comprises exactly one through opening. The through opening is preferably arranged centrally in the position element. Another of the position elements further comprises at least one through opening. In this position element, the at least one through opening lies at a first distance from a first edge surface and a second distance from a second edge surface, the first distance being different from the second distance, the position element being insertable into the receptacle such that one of the mentioned edge surfaces comes into contact with a stop surface of the receptacle, the position of the at least one through opening with respect to the stop surface being different depending on the edge surface in contact with the stop surface, so that the through opening comes to lie at different altitudes and so that the sanitary article arrives different altitudes can be mounted. The latter position element has the advantage that different insertion of the same into the receptacle, different altitudes can be reached. The through opening is accordingly spaced apart by a first distance from a first edge surface of the position element and at a second distance away from a second edge surface of the position element. With such a positioning element, the sanitary article can be positioned at two different altitudes.
In a second embodiment, the position element is formed with a first edge surface and a second edge surface, the at least one through opening being at a first distance from the first edge surface and a second distance from the second edge surface, the first distance from the second distance is different. The position element can be inserted into the receptacle in such a way that one of the edge surfaces mentioned comes into contact with a stop surface of the receptacle, the position of the at least one through opening with respect to the stop surface being different depending on the selected edge surface, so that the through opening comes to lie at different heights and so that the sanitary article can be mounted at different altitudes.
Preferably, the distances between the through opening and the edge surfaces are such that the distance between the position of the through opening when the first edge surface is in contact with the stop surface and between the position of the through opening when the second edge surface is in contact with the stop surface Is from 1 cm to 5 cm.
Thus, the sanitary ware can be set in a height range of 1 cm to 5 cm.
Parts of the fastener are passed through the slot and through the through hole.
The stop surface in both embodiments preferably runs transversely or preferably at least in sections transversely to the orientation of the slot. The stop surface is preferably provided by a side surface of the recess.
The number of through openings can be different in the two embodiments.
For example, the position element can comprise exactly one or exactly two or more than two through openings. The more through openings there are, the more creative freedom there is when adjusting the altitude.
Particularly preferably, the position element for both embodiments comprises at least two, in particular exactly two, through openings and at least two opposite edge surfaces, the at least two through openings being arranged offset to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction of the slot. Furthermore, the position element can be inserted into the receptacle with a first surface in front or a second surface lying opposite the first surface. The offset arrangement has in particular the advantage that the same position element can be inserted into the receptacle in different positions, and as a result a smaller dimensioning of the distances can be achieved.
Preferably, the receptacle of both embodiments has a base surface running parallel to the surface of the rear wall, from which said stop surface extends substantially at right angles, the slot extending from the base surface through the rear wall of the sanitary article.
If the position element lies in the receptacle, the position element lies on the base.
Preferably, the through openings in both embodiments are in the position element such that, for each position of the position element in the receptacle, the clear width of at least one of the through openings lies in the clear width of the slot.
Preferably, the receptacle of both embodiments has a side surface and the position element has a side surface, the distance between an axis extending centrally through the slot and the side surface of the receptacle being equal to or substantially equal to the distance between the central axis of the through opening and the side surface of the position element.
Preferably, the position element of both embodiments has at least a first group of at least one through opening and a second group of at least one through opening, wherein the first group is assigned to a first side surface and the second group to a second side surface, wherein<tb> - <SEP> the distance between an axis extending centrally through the slot and the side face of the receptacle is equal to or substantially the same as the distance between the central axis of the through openings of the first group and the associated side face of the position element and<tb> - <SEP> the distance between an axis extending centrally through the slot and the side surface of the receptacle is the same or substantially the same as the distance between the center axis of the through openings of the second group and the associated side surface of the position element.
Preferably, the shape of the receptacle of both embodiments is essentially identical to the shape of the position element, the position element preferably lying completely in the receptacle. The position element preferably completely fills the receptacle.
The shape of the receptacle and that of the position element can preferably be rectangular or oval when viewed at right angles to the rear wall. Other shapes are also conceivable. By changing the shape and position of the through openings with respect to the respective surfaces, the distances provided for the altitude can be varied.
The fastening element preferably has a bearing rod and optional bearing plates, both the bearing rod and the bearing plates extending through the slot and through the through opening.
The bearing rod is preferably a threaded rod and can be connected to a counterpart which is mounted in a stationary manner on the building side.
Preferably, the fastener further has a cooperating with the bearing rod clamping element which abuts a stop surface on the sanitary ware, the stop surface being arranged opposite the receptacle on the rear wall. The clamping element is preferably a threaded element which can be actuated with a tool.
Preferably the sanitary article is a urinal or a bidet or a toilet bowl or a washstand.
Preferably, two slots, two receptacles and two fastening elements are arranged.
[0031] The sanitary article is preferably made of ceramic. The position element is preferably made of plastic.
A method for assembling a sanitary article arrangement according to the above description is characterized in that the mounting height of the sanitary article is determined in a first step and that in a second step a position element is inserted into the receptacle in such a way that the through opening defining the mounting height is open the corresponding height in the recording.
Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.
